For babies who are transitioning out of a swaddle and/or still have a slight moro reflex, Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit is indeed, magic. This light, yet puffy suit muffles those startles and though it doesn’t make it impossible for a baby to do things like suck on his hands, it requires extra effort. I have suggested this product to many families when they share that their baby who previously slept well, when swaddled, now wakes frequently in the night. Merlin's Magic Sleep Suit is recommended for use during sleep until your baby can roll over, at which point, a sleep sack is more appropriate.
